Chicken Bone broth

Chicken soup. Leftovers. Lunch.

Divine is what it is. Having spent the morning in the company of Rebel Farmer Ed I was intent on coming home to knock up a presto pronto soup, broth, thingy for my lunch.


What I did….

1.Put the chicken carcass in little water added leek tops, carrot top and half an onion.

And simmer.

2. Drained off liquid into bowl.

3. Discarded veg.

4. Liquid back in saucepan with chicken picked from carcass.

5. Simmered with cubed up carrot and parsnip.

6. Poured into my favourite @lucyrutter bowl (as seen on #masterchefuk)

7. Big handful of @rebelfarmered crunchy peppery sprouts, buy them from @kentfoodhubs_folkestone@thegoodsshed_ , particularly like the sunflower variety.

And eaten with an insanely garlicky crouton (I could light the stove with my breath!)


That’s it, make it don’t buy it.
